Ideal Candidate:
A Software Engineer with strong general computer science skills, knowledge in multiple programming languages and environments, with some industry experience who is willing and able to work in a dynamic start-up environment.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Object Oriented and Functional programming
• Knowledge or interest in software compiler architectures and optimizations
• Experience with scripting languages, especially Ruby
• Network sockets programming experience
• Embedded programming experience with Linux or VxWorks a definite plus
• Exposure to applied mathematics, specifically numerical methods a plus
• Experience with building and optimizing high-performance, multi-threaded programs
• Experience with good software engineering practices and tools including source control, bug tracking tools, unit and system testing
• Knowledge of Linux development tools and practices
• Experience working with high-performance computing architectures a plus

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science
• 1-3 years of experience as a software developer preferred
• Interest in working in a fast-paced start-up environment
